StormMaster Shake gives the roof a dimensional wood-shake texture, and StormMaster Slate takes the same construction toward a slate-inspired profile. The wind spec
150 mph comes from six nails, not marketing.
Atlas shingles are rated at 110-130 mph with a standard installation. The HP Technology application puts 6 nails in each shingle instead of 4, and that pattern is what raises the rating to 150 mph. The number lives in the nailing, so it only applies when the roof is installed that way, and we price the HP application as its own line so you can see exactly what the upgrade costs. HP42 granule retention also comes standard, which means less grit washing into the gutters after a storm season.

Pinnacle Pristine is the everyday option.
Pinnacle Pristine is Atlas's standard architectural shingle, Class 3 rated, with Scotchgard Protector built in to slow algae staining on shaded slopes and HP42 technology keeping the granules bonded through weather and temperature swings. It fits homes where the budget stops short of Class 4 and the hail exposure does not justify the upgrade. We walk that trade-off with you during the assessment rather than defaulting to the more expensive shingle.
